Documenting a rugged bike race in rural northern Michigan
Project Summary
Sol Gravel is a 177 mile mixed-terrain gravel bike race that takes place in picturesque northwestern Michigan. Kicking off from Elberta lakeside park cyclists tour across a diverse landscape of beautiful old hardwood forests, Lake Michigan coastline, and wide-open farmlands.
Dronie was tasked with capturing aerial shots throughout the race course for documentation and use in future marketing materials. We came away with some epic shots that will work well across social channels and entice future racers.
